The JITO Sports Carnival marked a historic milestone, becoming the largest sporting event ever witnessed by Pune. With a staggering participation of over 1700 players and an overall footfall exceeding 15,000, the JITO Sports Carnival ran from February 12th to March 17th, featuring a diverse array of 12 sports disciplines including Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Lawn Tennis, Swimming, Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Boys Turf Cricket, and Girls Turf Cricket. The festivities kicked off with an electrifying Auction & Curtain Raiser at The Sheraton Grand, drawing a footfall of over 750.
The carnival concluded with a grand closing ceremony attracting a remarkable Audience of over 1800+. More than just a sporting extravaganza, the carnival also provided a platform for cultural expression with "JAINs Got Talent" on March 16th. Out of 60+ applications, 10 finalists showcased their talents live in front of an audience of 1500+, representing the diverse artistic prowess within the Jain community. Adding to the festivities, the Grand FUN CARNIVAL offered an array of entertainment options including 100+ Jain Food & B2C Stalls, Kids Amusement Games, and engaging workshops such as Drum Circle, Mandala Art, Kids Fitness sessions, and a Kids Drawing Competition. The two-day carnival footfall was above 10,000+ The resounding success of the JITO Sports Carnival reverberated throughout Pune, earning it the title of the talk of the town. With an inclusive approach to welcoming Jains of Pune, the carnival reached over 5000+ Jain families, further solidifying its place in the community. As we reflect on this momentous occasion, we are driven by our ultimate objective to expand the JITO Family. With the imminent launch of JITO Memberships on April 1st, we anticipate a flood of applications, affirming the enduring legacy and impact of the JITO Sports Carnival as a unifying force and celebration of excellence.
